1 red onion
1 tsp salt
118ml(1/2 cup) red wine
1 tbsp chilli paste
Pinch black or white pepper
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp dried basil
2 garlic cloves crushed
59ml(1/4 cup water)

Chop the onion. and add the garlic and fry unti Cooked
Add the chilli paste and cook for 30 minutes over a low to medium heat
Add the red wine and let it cook for 1 minute
Add the tomatoes ,water, blackor white pepper and basil.
Bring to the boil for 5 minutes
Then lower the temperature to medium-low for ten minutes.
