Chocolate Mousse Torte by

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup powder sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup Oreo cookies, ground
1 tsp. unflavored gelatin
3 Tbsp. water
1/3 cup powder sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (8 oz.) chocolate cool whip


Crust: Beat flour, margarine, butter, sugar, salt and cookies together.

Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Cool completely.

Filling: Dissolve gelatin over cold water. Transfer to a small saucepan over low heat until gelatin is completely gone. Take off heat.

Beat heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Beat in sugar, cocoa and vanilla extract. Gradually add gelatin to cream mixture.

Topping: Spread cool whip over the cream layer.
