Honey Glazed Carrots by
1 bag of ready to eat baby carrots or peeled regular carrots cut into 1 ½ inch length
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
A pinch of nutmeg if desired
Parsley to add color if desired
In a two quart saucepan, boil carrots in about two cups water. Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat and cover with a lid. Drain water once the carrots are tender and return them back to the pan. Add honey and butter, stirring the mixture frequently until the butter is fully melted and the carrots are evenly coated with honey. Once ready to serve, sprinkle the nutmeg and garnish with a touch of parsley.
