Asparagus with Lemon Butter by

Ingredients

Coarse salt
ground pepper
1 1/2 pounds trimmed asparagus
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

1. Bring 2-inches salted water to boil in a wide (10-inch) sauce pan or skillet.
2. Place asparagus in sauce pan; cook until just tender, 5-8 minutes; drain well in colander.
3. Return asparagus to pan; toss with butter, lemon zest and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper
