3/4 cp butter
3/4 cp sugar
1 egg
2 teasp orange extract
2 1/2 cp flour

frosting:
2 tablsp butter melted
1 1/4 cps confectioner's sugar
1 teasp orange zest
1 teasp orange extract
1-2 tablsp milk

3/4 cp butter 3/4 cp sugar 1 egg 2 teasp orange extract 2 1/2 cp flour 2 tablsp butter melted 1 1/4 cps confectioner's sugar 1 teasp orange zest 1 teasp orange extract 1 -2 tablsp milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking sheet.
Cream together the butter and sugar. Blend in the egg and extract. Gradually add flour. Roll into 1" balls, then flatten balls with a glass dipped in flour. Bake 10-12 minutes until slightly brown around the edges. Remove from oven and let cool.
Combine all frosting ingredients but milk until smooth. Add milk as needed. Spread on cooled cookies.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
