Ingredients
1 cup water
4 lbs. brisket
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
3 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 t. dry mustard
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 T. Worchestershire sauce
dash Tobasco
1 cup        
water

Instructions
Brown meat slowly on both sides in dutch oven, adding a little shortening if necessary. When brown, sprinkle both sides of meat with salt & pepper. Add water, tomato sauce, onion, and garlic. Cover & simmer 2 hrs. Mix brown sugar, mustard, lemon juice, vinegar, ketchup, worstershire and tobasco sauces & pour over meat. Cover and simmer 1 and 1/2 hours longer or until tender.
