The Best Strawberry Cake by


1 white cake mix
1 package strawberry jello
1 cup of oil
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup water
3/4 to 1 cup mashed strawberries or sliced strawberries

Strawberry Icing:
1/2 cup butter
1 lb powdered sugar
1/4 to 1/2 cup strawberries
4 ozs soften cream cheese (optional)


Grease and flour two round cake pans or one 9x13 cake pan. Combine cake mix and jello. Beat in oil, eggs, water and strawberries. Pour into pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes in pans, then on racks.

Beat butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in strawberries. Chill, then frost.
