Can serve with garlic bread and salad. House Seasoning: 1 cup salt 1/4 cup of pepper 1/4 cup of garlic powder Mix the ingredients together and store in an air tight container for up to 6 months. Can be used as a seasoning for meats and vegetables.

Ingredients

2 lbs of hamburger meat
2 large yellow onions, chopped ( I use a teaspoon of onion flakes instead)
3 cloves of garlic, chopped ( I use about a teaspoon of chopped garlic)
3 cups of water
2 - 15 oz cans of tomato sauce
2 - 15 oz cans of diced tomatoes
2 tbs Italian seasoning
3 bay leaves
3 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs house seasoning, recipe to follow
1 tbs seasoned salt
2 cups of elbow macaroni, uncooked

Instructions

In a large pan, cook hamburger with onion or onion flakes, then drain. Add garlic and cook for about 5 minutes. Add 3 cups of water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, house seasoning and seasoned salt. Stir well. Place a lid on the pot and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Add elbow macaroni, stir well, return the lid to the pot, and simmer for about 30 minutes. Then fish out bay leaves, turn off heat and allow mixture to sit for 20-30 minutes more before serving.
