Lemon Squares by

CRUST: 2 sticks of butter
2 cups of flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar

FILLING: 4 eggs - beat until thick - about 12 minutes
2 cups of sugar
2 lemons - juice of
4 Tables. flour
1 tsp. Baking powder


Mix Crust ingredients well pat down on a cookie sheet - dust with additional powdered sugar - cook 350* for 20 minutes or so; until lightly browned.

FILLING - After beating eggs until thick - add all other ingredients - mix well

POUR FILLING onto hot crust - put pan back in oven 350* for around 20 minutes or more - until set - then take out of oven sprinkle with powdered sugar - let cool - cut into squares.
