Apple Tart with Caramel Sauce by

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar
2 T. (generous) margarine
3 large eggs
1 C. self raising flower
1/2 t.baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/4 C. milk
1 can (385g) tart apples

Caramel sauce:
1 can Carnation Evaporated Milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 t. caramel extract

Instructions

Mix the sugar and margarine till soft and creamy. Add the eggs one by one and beat well.
Sift dried ingredients together and mix alternately with milk and margarine mixture.
Add the apples and mix well. Pour into greased bowl and bake for 30 to 40 min. (350° F)
In the meantime start making the caramel sauce. Pour the 3 ingredients in a pot and let boil for a while. Pour sauce immediately over tart when coming out of oven.
