Soft Gingerbread Cookies by


1 cup crisco
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tablespoons orange zest
2 tablespoons molasses
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoons ginger
1/2 teaspoons cloves
1/2 teaspoons salt


Mix everything together.Chill overnight.Roll to 1/4 inch thick or as thick or thin you want.Cup into boys or girls.Bake at 375 for 8 minutes or until golden brown.Cool and decorate.
