Chocolate-Dipped Confetti Cone by

1/2 C. Milk Chocolate Chips
1/4 C. Sprinkles or Small Candy Decorations
6 Waffle Cones
12 Scoops any flavor ice cream (3 cups)


1. Put the chocolate chips into a bowl. Do not cover the bowl. Microwave it on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate. Microwave it again on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smoothe. If the chocolate is not completely melted, microwave it for 30 seconds more.

2. Put the sprinkles or candy decorations on a small paper plate. To make each cone, carefully tip the bowl toward you so the chocolate pools in the bowl. Dip the top part of the cone into the chocolate mixture. Gently shake the cone to let the extra chocolate drip out.

3. Roll the chocolate-covered end of the cone into the sprinkles. Put the cone chocolate-side up into a shallow glass so that the chocolate can harden. Dip the rest of the cones in the chocolate following step 2.

4. Fill each cone with two scoops of your favorite ice cream.
