Honey Wheat Bread by

Ingredients

6 cups Hard White Winter Wheat flour
2 tsp. salt

2 cups warm water
2 T. Instant Yeast

1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
1 egg

Instructions

Combine 3 cups wheat flour with 2 tsp. salt into your mixing bowl and mix. Pour 2 cups warm water into flour mixture and sprinkle 2 T. instant yeast on top. The yeast will start to activate and foam a little. Turn on the mixer and mix until all the flour is moistened. In a glass measuring cup, combine the oil and honey. microwave oil and honey for 30 seconds until warm but not hot. Pour into mixture and add the egg. Mix until combined, then add in the remaining 3 cups of flour. Continue mixing until the dough pulls away from the edges and then for an additional 3-5 minutes.

Remove dough from mixer and form into a ball. Place inside an oiled bowl and cover. Let rise until doubled (approximately 1 hour). Then punch down and divide into 2 loaves and place in 2 greased loaf pans to rise again, covered (approximately 1 hour). Bake for 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Butter loaf tops when hot, right out of oven. Cool before slicing. enjoy..
