Ingredients
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup soft shortening (crisco)
2 tbsp soft butter
4 eggs
2 tbsp corn syrup
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
Cream sugar, Cisco, and butter; add eggs, one at a time, gently beating between additions. Add remaining ingredients. Blend well. Fill prepared unbaked tart shells to the brim. Bake at 350degreesF for approx 20 minutes.
Yield: 2 dozen large
Note: filling will not overflow
