Shrimp - Portuguese Mozambique by

Begin making rice in the instant pot while starting this meal. Rice is cup for cup and 3 minutes on high pressure then natural release.


1 lb frozen or fresh large shrimp peeled.
1 tsp Olive Oil
1/2 Medium Onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup dry white wine.
2 tsp unsalted butter.
1 pinch of sea salt and black pepper.

2 tbsp tabasco hot sauce.
2 tbs olive oil
2 clove garlic minced.
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbs parsley, chopped


Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and garlic cook until fragrant (2 minutes). Add wine and cook until reduced by half (4 minutes)

Add shrimp and cook until no longer pink (about 4 minutes). Add butter and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Meanwhile mix the sauce ingredients and whisk.

Stir in sauce and cook until heated through. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with white rice.
