Caramel Crunch by

Makes a nice hostess gift!!! Very addictive!


1/3 cup butter
1 Tbls. Corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
6 cups corn or rice Chex


Butter a cookie sheet. Heat butter & syrup over low heat in a large skillet until butter melts. Stir. Add brown sugar, stir until smooth. Heat slowly till bubbly( do not stir!)
Cook 2 more minutes- Add cereal to pan and stir to coat. Spread on cookie sheet.
Cool and break it up. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt (optional)
Store in an airtight container.
