ALOO PALAK MASALA by

Ingredients

Palak leaves (chopped)- 1 bundle
Potato (boiled)- ½ cup
Garlic cloves – 4 to 5
Onion (big) finely chopped -1
Tomato (finely cut)-2
Garam masala powder- 1 tbsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
Bay leaf -1
Fennel seeds – 1tsp
Green chilly-2
Coriander leaves – a handful
Salt- to taste

Instructions

1. In a pan heat oil and add fennel seeds, bay leaf, crushed garlic, green chilly and onion. Sauté them for few minutes.
2. Add tomato and leave it to cook for sometime. Now add the chopped palak leaves. Close the pan and allow it to cook.
3. Now add garam masala powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Leave it to cook for few minutes and then add the boiled potatoes and allow it to cook in a medium flame for sometime. Add coriander leaves.
4. Aloo palak masala goes well with chapathi, roti and rice.
