No-Fail Pie Crust by

Ingredients

2-1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 c. shortening
1 egg
1 T. vinegar
1/4 c. cold water (or more)

Instructions

Sift flour with salt into large bowl; add shortening and mix until blended. Slightly beat egg; add vinegar and water. Mix with other ingredients. Add more water if necessary until dough will hold together.

Dough is easy to roll and always tender. Makes enough for two 8" double-crust pies.
