Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup white sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven 350*
Butter a 8x8" or 9x9" square baking pan.
Mix sugar, flour & butter in food processor until it looks like coarse breadcrumbs.
Pour the mixture into greased baking dish.
Use your hands to firmly press down.
Prick with fork.
Place shortbread in middle rack and bake for 30-35 minutes or until light golden brown and firm.
Let cool, cut & serve.
Store the shortbread in an airtight container for up to several weeks.
