Ingredients
2 packages of pastry puff ( from freezer section)
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 sprigs fresh thyme or favorite herbs
1 tsp dry mustard powder
12 oz sirloin beef, cut into size of sugar cube
3 potatoes, peeled & cut into size of sugar cube
1 onion, diced
2 eggs, beaten
Optional:
1 cup peas
1 cup grated carrots
Turnips/rutabaga ( instead of potatoes)

Instructions
In frying pan, add olive oil and saute onion with herbs, until soft & golden.
Place cubed beef in bowl with mustard powder, add salted onion, potatoes and season with salt & pepper, mix all well.
Roll out pastry puff as instructed on package, on clean floured surface to about 1/4 " thick and cut out 4-6 circles about 4 inches across
Place spoonful of mixture on center of each pastry circle
Brush beaten eggs on edge of each circle and fold over half, crimp edges to seal, and brush more egg mixture all over on top and salt/pepper on top and slit a hole on top.
Place onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 450 ' oven and lower heat to 385 ' and bake 45 minutes or less until golden brown
