Korean Salsa by

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup cherry tomato
1 small yellow onion, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons gochujang
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon fish sauce

Instructions

1. preheat the broiler to high, placing the rack in the upper third of the oven

2. line a baking sheet with tinfoil and toss directly on the sheet, the tomatoes, and onion with the olive oil

3. Broil, stirring now and then, until the tomatoes have collapsed and the onions have softened a bit and everything is slightly charred about 10 minutes

4. place tomatoes and onions in a food processor with the remaining ingredients and blitz until pureed

5. remove the salsa to a bowl and season to taste with salt
