4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup milk
Garlic Topping
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 large garlic clove, pressed
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley flakes

Instructions
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, cream of tartar, sugar and garlic powder.
Add in the softened butter and stir with a fork until it is flaky.
Stir in the shredded cheese and the milk, until it forms into a dough.
Scoop or spoon a small amount of the dough into the basket, lined with parchment paper with holes in it, or a lightly sprayed with olive oil.
Cook at 400 degrees if using a smaller basket for 5 minutes. If cooking more biscuits at a time in a larger basket, cook for 8 min.
Garlic Topping
Melt together the butter with garlic, garlic powder and parsley, and brush on the tops of the cooked biscuits. Serve warm.
