STEP 1 - Before using ice cream function
1. Remove all package and transport materials from the inside and outside of the appliance.

2. Check that the appliance has no visible damage and that no parts are missing.

3. Before using for the first time (or after prolonged storage without use), wash any parts that will come into contact with food.

4. Place the ice cream bowl into a freezer, and leave it there for at least 16 hours. To freeze the ice cream bowl properly, the temperature in the freezer is required to be at least -18C (or turn the freezer to the max. freezing level).

NOTE 1: Ice cream bowl cannot be inverted or placed on its side.

NOTE 2: Dry the ice cream bowl completely before placing into the freezer.

STEP 2 - Preparing ingredients
1. In a medium bowl, mix the water, fresh lemon juice and sugar powder until completely combined/dissolved (about 1 to 2 minutes on low speed).

2. Stir in the fresh egg white.

NOTE 3: The maximum ingredients volume is 600mL.

NOTE 4: Before making ice cream, chill ingredients to temperature lower than 20C before use, so that the machine can make icecream/sorbet faster.

STEP 3 - Assembling the machine for ice cream function
1. Attach the motor unit to the ice cream lid. make sure the hooks on the motor unit are fitted firmly into the ice cream lid. Insert the driving shaft and paddle to the motor unit, via the hole on the ice cream lid.

2. Place the motor unit and the ice cream lid onto the ice cream bowl.

3. Slide the lid into lock position. Make sure the lid & motor are secured firmly with the ice cream bowl.

4. Put the ice cream bowl into the main body, and make sure that the power coupler on the main body is connected properly to the motor unit.

STEP 4 - To operate
1. Press the switch to the "=" (ice cream) position, and the paddle in the ice cream bowl will start turning.

2. Fill the ice cream bowl with prepared ingredients, via an opening on the lid. Maximum ingredient volume is 600mL, there is a max line on wall of the ice cream bowl.

3. After the machine has worked for 20-40 minutes, when the ice cream is observed to be spreading up the edge of the ice cream bowl, press the switch to the "O" (stop) position.

4. The fresh ice cream is soft and ready to serve. If you prefer hard ice cream, leave the ice cream in the bowl for another 20-30 minutes, or put the ice cream bowl into the freezer for 1-2 hours.

5. The inner lid for the yoghurt bowl can also fit the ice cream bowl. Users may put the inner lid on the ice cream bowl and put the ice cream bowl into the freezer.

NOTE 5: Longest working time for ice cream is 40 minutes

NOTE 6: When scooping or eating ice cream from the bowl, DO NOT use sharp objects or utensils inside the ice cream bowl. Rubber spatula or wooden spoons are recommended.

NOTE 7: the ice cream gets really hard if its put into a container in the freezer. I put it in a plastic bowl. I had to defrost it in the microwave for a little while before I could dig into it. Anyone know a better container I could put it in? I was thinking an empty ice cream container that I'd already used all the ice cream from?
