Ingredients

🍯🔥 Hot Honey Garlic Pork Chops with Sticky Glaze

Savory, sweet, a little spicy — with fresh rosemary and thyme for an elevated touch.

🔹 Ingredients (for 2–4 pork chops):

🔸 Marinade:
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1½ tbsp hot honey
• 1 tbsp soy sauce (or 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce)
• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
• 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional – depth, not mustardy)
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 sprig fresh rosemary, finely chopped
• 2 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves only

🔸 Sticky Glaze (made in the pan after cooking):
• Remaining marinade from the bag/bowl (reserve it!)
• 1–2 tsp extra hot honey, to taste
• Optional: splash of water or broth if it thickens too fast

Instructions

🥣 Step-by-Step Instructions:

🔸 Marinate:
1. In a bowl or zip-top bag, mix all marinade ingredients.
2. Add pork chops and coat well.
3. Marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours in the fridge.
4. Remove from fridge 15 minutes before cooking.

🔥 Cook the Pork Chops (Pan-Seared Method):
1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Remove pork chops from marinade (reserve the marinade for the glaze!).
3. Sear pork chops for 3–5 minutes per side depending on thickness, until golden and cooked to 145°F internal temp.
4. Remove chops from pan and let rest.

🍯 Make the Sticky Glaze:
1. Reduce heat to medium.
2. Add reserved marinade to the pan (discard herbs/solids if preferred).
3. Stir in 1–2 tsp extra hot honey.
4. Simmer 2–4 minutes until thickened and glossy — it should coat the back of a spoon.
• If it reduces too fast, add a splash of water or broth.
5. Optional: stir in a small knob of butter for extra richness.
6. Spoon glaze over pork chops before serving.
