Frozen Fruit Dessert by

Ingredients

1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c of water
1/4 c (40 gm) mashed banana (3-inch section), not overly rope
1 tbs lemon juice
8 oz can crushed pineapple - undrained.

Instructions

In a saucepan, heat sugar with water until sugar dissolves. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a shallow metal baking dish. Freeze until almost firm, then remove mixture to a bowl and beat with electric mixer for several minutes, until smooth and fluffy.

Return to freezer and freeze firm.

About 15 or 20 minutes before serving, allow to thaw slightly and serve rather slushy.
