Bourbon Sweet Potatoes by


1 Large juicy can of yams
1 Tablespoon marg.
1 Tablespoon corn starch
3/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup bourbon


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Drain potatoes and set sauce aside.
3. Grease baking dish and place potatoes (well drained) in it.
4. Bring juice, margarine, salt to a boil.
5. Stir a little juice into the cornstarch to get out the lumps. Add this back to the juice.
6. Add brown sugar - cook on low. Turn off and add bourbon. Pour over the potatoes.
7. Bake 45 minutes.
