· 2 cups shortening
· 1 cup brown sugar
· 1 cup white sugar
· 2 eggs
· 2 tsp vanilla
· 4 cups flour
· 2 tsp baking soda
· 2 tsp cream of tarter
· 1 tsp salt

Cream shortening and sugar until light. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients and set aside. Add slowly. Bake at 350, 10 to 15 minutes. Top with Hershey kiss.
