Oyster Dressing by

Ingredients
3 c. coarse rolled saltine crackers
3 doz raw oysters - drained but save liquid
1/4 c. oyster liquid (I've found it needs at least 1/2 c or more)
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. salt
Speck of pepper
2 eggs slightly beaten

Instructions
Prepare crackers by placing in a gallon zipper bag and crushing
Arrange 1/4 of the crackers in bottom of greased 2 qt casserole
Place 1/3 of the oysters on top
Repeat layers as above
Scald oyster liquid, mild, and butter and add salt & pepper
Gradually pour over eggs while stirring
Pour liquid mix over oysters and crackers
Bake at 350F for 1 hr or in crock-pot on high for 1 1/2 hr
