Uncooked Fruit Jam by


3 c crushed ripe fruit (strawberries, respberries, peaches, etc)
5 c sugar
1 c water
1 package sure jell


Wash fruit throughly, peel, remove stems and pit as necessary. Crush fruit and mix with sugar and allow to stand 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dissolve the sure jell in the water and boil 1 minute. Add to the fruit mixture, stirring 2 minutes. Ladle in jam jars filling to 1/2" of rim. Cover and let stand 24-48 hrs. Store in refigerator or freezer.
