Mixing bowl with mixer and dough hook
Pastry cutter
Biscuit cutter
Baking sheet with greased parchment paper
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
5 tbsp of cold butter cut into cubes
1 cup of milk
Rolling pin


Heat oven to 475 f or 250 c
Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl
Cut butter add to mixture
Cut butter into dry ingredients six times with a pastry cutter until dough is crumbly
Add milk to the bowl and stir well until dough forms a rough ball
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface
Roll dough into a rectangle fold it over and repeat the steps
Cover with a kitchen towel let rest 30 minutes
Cut dough with biscuit cutters put on baking sheet two inches apart bake 15 minutes or until golden brown
