French Toast Special by

Ingredients

2 pieces of Bread
1 Egg
Pinch of Cinnamon
1 TBLSPN of Milk
2 Drops of Vanilla
4 -6 Pieces of Ham.. This is up to you. I use the more expensive type of sandwich meat. Either Honey Ham or Brown Sugar.
Instead of 4-6 pieces of sandwich meat ham,
You can also use one thicker slice of left over Ham from Christmas or Thanksgiving, etc.
Syrup (as much or as little as you want, any kind you want, but maple is the only kind I've tried with this recipe)

If you want more... just double up the recipe. 4 pieces, I usually use two eggs, or a little more milk. :)

Instructions

Mix Egg, milk, vanilla and cinnamon in bowl.
Heat non stick frying pan to medium heat.


Take bread and dip both sides in egg mixture. Only dip. Dont leave it in there longer than just dipping or it will get very soggy.

Place in pan til the egg is cooked on both sides.. about 3-4 minutes on each side. Should be a brownish tint. After bread is done.. stack them on top of each other in the pan. You will flip these over every 30 seconds or so to make sure they aren't burnt. You are really just doing this to keep them warm.

In the empty part of the pan.. lay slices of Ham down. Flip meat until both sides have a little bit of brownish color..
Put top piece of Bread on Plate, place Ham in the middle and place second piece of Bread on top.
Cover with syrup.
