When receiving a large bag of southern pecans, I tried this one out. Pretty for Christmas. Kids love to roll these little snow ball cookies.

1 Cup softened butter
1/4 C. powdered sugar
2 tsps vanilla extract
1 Tbs water

2 C. sifted flour
1 C. pecans (chopped)
more powdered sugar for rolling round cookies in it {twice}

1 Cup softened butter 1/4 C. powdered sugar 2 tsp s vanilla extract 1 Tbs water 2 C. sifted flour 1 C. pecans (chopped)

Cream 1 C butter and 1/4 C powdered sugar; add 2 tsps vanilla and 1 Tbs water.

Add 2 C flour; mix well and add ! C pecans.

Form small balls and roll in powdered sugar

Bake 300 degrees F. for 20 mins.

While still warm out of the oven, roll again in powdered sugar.
