Hawaiian Sweet Rolls by


6 & 1/2 cups flour
3 eggs
2 cups pineapple juice, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 (1/4 oz.) envelopes yeast
1/2 cup butter, melted


In a small bowl, beat eggs, add pineapple juice, sugar, vanilla and melted butter. Measure 3 cups of flour in a large bowl. Stir in egg mixture. Sprinkle with yeast and mix well. Add remaining 3 cups flour, mix well. Make sure flour is incorporated. Dough should be tacky. Cover with kitchen towel, set in warm place to rise for 1 hour. Remove dough from bowl and knead with 1/2 cup flour. Form into rolls or loaf. Place in buttered pan. Cover and let rise additional hour in warm place. Bake at 350*F for 25-30 minutes. Brush top with additional melted butter and serve warm.
