Texas Two Step Stew by


1 (8oz.) package chorizo
1 medium onion (1/2 cup)
1 can Ranch style beans
1 can whole kernel corn
1 package Spanish style rice mix


In skillet cook chorizo and onion, drain fat. Place in slow cooker. Stir in beans, corn and seasoning mix from rice mix. Pour in 6 cups water. Cook on high for 2-3 hours. Stir in rice. Cook on high for 1 additional hour. Serve with tortillas, lime wedges, cilantro, and cheese.
