1 tsp baking powder - 1/4 tsp. baking soda & 1/2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 cup Buttermilk - 1 cup Milk & 1 Tbsp. Vinegar or lemon juice
1 cup Brown Sugar - 1 cup sugar mixed with 2 Tbsp. Molasses
1 tsp. lemon juice - 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 square(oz.) chocolate - 3 Tbsp. Cocoa and 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
1 cup sour cream - 1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup red wine - 1 cup apple cider, beef broth or water
1 cup white wine - 1 cup apple juice, chicken broth or water

Instructions

Dash = less than 1/8 tsp.
3 tsp. = 1 Tbsp.
16 Tbsp. = 1 cup
1 cup = 8 oz.
2 cups = 1 pint
2 pints (4 cups) = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon
16 oz. = 1 pound
4 Tbsp. = 1/4 cup
