Cream Cheese Pound Cake by


1 & 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 (8oz.) package cream cheese, softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 & 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1/8 teaspoon salt

1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon milk


Beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed until creamy. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Slowly add flour and salt. Pour into greased tube pan. Fill a 2 cup oven proof cup with water and place in oven with pan to keep cake moist. Bake at 300*F for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool 10-15 minutes before removing from pan. Mix together ingredients for glaze in a bowl- glaze should be thin. Drizzle over cooled cake.
