Pie Crust by


4 cups flour
1 3/4 cups shortening
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar


In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, shortening, sugar, and salt. Blend together with a pastry cutter until crumbly.
In a small bowl, mix egg with water and vinegar. Blend into flour mixture. Chill in refrigerator until ready to use.
Press pie crust into pie pan and prick bottom and sides. Bake at 475*F for 8-10 minutes. Cool before filling or may be used for filled pies as well!
