Chocolate Silk Pie by


1/3 cup butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup whipping cream
2 egg yolks, beaten
3 Tablespoons whipping cream


Start melting butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add chocolate chips and 1 cup whipping cream. After all melted, slowly add egg yolks. Stir until bubbly, about 5 minutes. Whip 3 Tablespoons whipping cream in a cold bowl, add chocolate mixture. Beat until fluffy and cover with plastic wrap touching the mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Beat once more and pour into cooled, cooked pie shell. Top with additional prepared whipping cream and chocolate curls or mini chocolate chips.
