This recipe originally came from Grandpa Mark's grandmother. We called her "Re".

1 C Crisco
1/2 C Sugar
1C Brown Sugar
1t Vanilla

2 well-beaten eggs

2-1/4 C flour
1t Salt
1t Baking Soda
1/2t Cinnamon

1C Nestle's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
(Add pecan pieces or M&M's if desired.)

1 C Crisco 1/2 C Sugar 1 C Brown Sugar 1 t Vanilla 2 well-beaten eggs 2 -1/4 C flour 1 t Salt 1 t Baking Soda 1/2 t Cinnamon 1 C Nestle's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven 375 degrees.

Cream together Crisco, Sugar, Brown Sugar and Vanilla.
Add well-beaten eggs.
Sift together, then add Flour, Salt, Baking Soda and Cinnamon.
Stir in Chocolate Chips (and pecans and/or M&M's if desired).

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until the bottom is lightly brown. I like to use parchment paper.
