Albondigas Soup by

1 lb. gr. beef (or turkey)
2 T. flour
3 green onions, chopped
1 can chicken broth
water (about 1 quart)
3/4 can tomato sauce
pinch of mint
cilantro (if desired)
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. salt


Put small amount of oil in large Dutch skillet and brown garlic powder and flour. Add onions and brown. Slowly add tomato sauce and water. Add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Lower temperature and simmer. Form ground beef into small meatballs and add to soup after it boils. Simmer for 1-2 hours, until meatballs are cooked.
Serve with tortillas.
