Albondigas Soup by

Ingredients

1 lb. gr. beef (or turkey)
water (about 1 quart)
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
pinch of mint
cilantro (if desired)
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. salt
1/2 t. onion powder
2 T. flour

Instructions

Put small amount of oil in large Dutch skillet and brown garlic powder. Slowly add tomato sauce, tomato paste and water. Add salt and onion powder. Bring to a boil. Lower temperture and simmer. Form ground beef into small meatballs and add to soup after it boils. Simmer for 1-2 hours, until meatballs are cooked.
Serve with torillas.
