Corlene's FAMOUS Bread Pudding by

Ingredients

10 slices bread (sourdough recommended)
bake 15 min at 300

Cut in small cubes & put in a 9x12 pan
Sprinkle with cinnamon & 1/2 C raisins (or cranberries)
Combine 1 C brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
6 eggs
2 cans sweetened condensed milk (less 1/3 cup for the topping)
add enough milk to make 6 cups
Pour over the bread, dot with butter & bake @ 350 45-60 minutes until set

Add Topping:
1/2 C brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter
the 1/3 cup of the saved sweetened condensed milk
Cook 5 minutes & pour over baked pudding

Instructions

Whiskey Sauce:

2 eggs, beaten
1 pt canned milk
1 pt 1/2 & 1/2
1 3/4 pints powdered sugar
1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter melted

Beat the eggs with sugar, milk & butter
Cook over low heat; as it thickens add 1/4 -1/3 C whiskey
