Pulled Taffy by
3 cups sugar 1 cup water 1 cup corn syrup 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup butter 2 teaspoons flavoring and color
Butter 15x10x1 pan. In a saucepan, mix sugar and water, stir in corn syrup and salt, add butter. Bring to boil over medium heat. Cook until 256*F( Hard ball stage); without stirring. Remove from heat, stir in extract and color. Pour into butter pan. Let stand until able to touch. With buttered hands, pull taffy, until satiny, light in color. Pull taffy and cut into pieces. Wrap in parchment paper.
