Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup by Powell family recipe book

Ingredients

2 cloves garlic minced 2 T olive oil 2 cans of tomato soup 1/2 C sundried tomato paste/spread 1 1/2 C milk 2 C half and half 2 C chicken broth 1 t onion powder 1/2 t salt 1/2 t pepper 2 t Italian seasonings 1 9 oz package cheese tortellini 1/2 C shredded parmesan

Instructions

Sautee garlic with the olive oil in a large stock pot over medium heat. Don't burn. Add tomato soup, tomatoes, milk, half and half, chicken broth, and spices. Bring to a simmer. Once simmering, drop tortellini into soup. Cook according to package directions. After tortellini is cooked serve with parmesan cheese and crusty bread.
