Fried rice by Powell family recipe book

Ingredients

2 C uncooked rice Water 3 Tablespoons butter 1/2 bag frozen peas and carrots 1/2 bag frozen onions 2 eggs 1/3 C soy sauce Fried rice seasoning packet

Instructions

Cook rice in steamer.
Melt butter in wok, sauté peas, carrots and onions. Move to side and add in eggs and scramble and cook. Add cooked rice and brown up just for a couple of minutes. Add fried rice seasoning packet and mix 1/3 C soy sauce with 2/3 C water and add to rice mixture and fry up for a couple more minutes.
