Perfect whipped buttercream by janine

Ingredients

4 cups of sifted powdered sugar 2 sticks softened unsalted butter 1/8 tsp salt 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream cold 2 tsp vanilla extract gel food coloring if desired measuring cups and spoons stand mixer with paddle attachment container with a lid to store frosting if not using right away

Instructions

Set the butter out for 45 minutes, on your counter to get soft.
Once the butter is soft, mix all of the ingredients together on low speed until it comes together.
Increase the speed to high, and mix 5 minutes until fluffy, pausing twice to scrape down the bowl.
Store in the fridge for two weeks.
