Nut Bread by TRobinson


3 cups flour 1 cup sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 tablespoon melted crisco 1 1/2 cup milk 1 cup ground walnuts Pinch of salt 3 heaping teaspoon baking powder


1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Mix dry ingredients. Add nuts, sprinkle shortening over dry ingredients. Add egg and milk, stir until mixed well. Pour into greased pans. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 for 1 hour for loaf; 35 minutes for mini loaves.

Makes one loaf or 8 mini loaves.
