Peanut Butter Cookies with Double Chocolate Chips by Nancy & Ron

Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 eggs 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 tspn baking soda 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 F
Cream shortening with both sugars in large bowl. Beat in egg and then peanut butter
Sift flour with backing soda and salt. Add to batter, mixing just enough to combine. Stir in chocolate chips
Shape dough into small balls and arrange on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork and bake 8 to 10 minutes.
When done, carefully transfer cookies to wire racks and let cool.
