Country Chicken Noodle Soup by MichelleMcCool

Ingredients

5 lbs Chicken 12 c water 4 celery stalks, diced 4 carrots, diced 2 medium onions, diced 1 c tomatoes, peeled, seeded, diced 1 T salt 1 bay leaf 2 c flat egg noodles

Instructions

Place chicken in large pot. Cover w/water. Add celery, carrots and onions. Bring to a boil, reduce heat & simmer covered for 8 hrs.
Remove chicken and dice. Return to soup.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring back to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer for 15 minutes more.
Discard bay leaf.
Service hot.
