Caramel Corn by LydiaW

Ingredients

2 c brown sugar 1/2 c light corn syrup 2 sticks butter pinch of cream of tartar 1/2 tsp salt 8 qt popped corn 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions

1. Mix sugar, syrup, and butter in a heavy pan. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

2. Remove from heat, stir in baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.

3. Immediately pour over corn. Mix well, and spread out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Bake at 200 degrees for one hour. Pour out on wax paper and immediately separate.
