Chunky Beef Chili with Tomatoes by Elethia

Ingredients

3 scallions, minced 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon oregano 2 teaspoon oil 1 pound lean ground round steak 1 16-ounce can red kidney beans, drained 4 medium tomatoes, cored and chopped 1 cup corn kernels

Instructions

1. In a large heavy sauce pan over medium heat, heat oil. Saute scallions, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and oregano for 1 minute. Add beef, stirring until it has browned.

2. Add beans, tomatoes, and corn kernels;simmer until heated through - 5 to 10 minutes - and serve.
